– Pitched professionally in the Minnesota Twins organization 1982-1985

– Selected to the Double-A All-Star team in 1984

– Mastered the LHP pick off to 1B

(100+ pick offs in college and 90+ pick offs in pro ball)

– 35 years of coaching experience at the NCAA D1 level, High School level and as a private instructor.

–University of Central Florida – Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator (1988-1996)

–University of Tennessee – Pitching Coach and Recruiter (1996-1998)

–Tennessee Tech University – Head Coach (1998-2001)

–Prestonwood Christian Academy – Head Coach (2001-present)

–Palmetto Sr. High School as a pitching coach (1985-1988)

–Private Pitching Instructor (1981-present)

– 6-time guest speaker at the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) National Clinic on Pitching and the LHP Pick Off move to 1B

– Currently serve on the Arm Injury and Prevention Committee of the American Baseball Coaches Association

– Authored a book titled “The Move” detailing a guaranteed method of teaching the lefthanded pickoff to 1B.

– Authored the chapter titled “Pickoffs and Run Downs” in the nationally sold book Gold Glove Baseball by the American Baseball Coaches Association

– Guest speaker nationally and internationally at over 50 Baseball Coaching Clinics on pitching

– Coached 87 players who have been drafted by professional teams

–7 1st round draft picks
